Total capacity of Tamba-Mäli wind power station is 18 MW and it includes six contemporary type E-101 3 MW wind turbines manufactured by the German company Enercon GmbH. The turbines are connected through a common 33 kV switchyard and 22 km long 33 kV underground cable line with Lõpe 110/33 kV substation of a wind power plant, where the supply point of 110 kV overhead line belonging to Elering AS is located. Wind turbines E-101 have a 99 m high tower and rotor with a diameter of 101 m.

Tamba wind turbines

Tamba wind turbines are located in Tamba village, Varbla rural municipality, Pärnu County. See the site.

A detailed plan was initiated in Varbla rural municipality in 2001 for the construction of Tamba wind turbines. The whole development and planning process was time-consuming and large, taking more than 10 years. The Environmental Investment Centre supported the construction of wind turbines with 7.47 million euros received from the sale of Estonian pollution quota to Spain.

Two Tamba wind turbines E-101 with 3 MW capacity, manufactured by the German company Enercon GmbH, belong to Tamba-Mäli wind power plant and are connected to the common supply point in Lõpe 110/33 kV substation. The wind turbines started electricity production in November 2013. Wind turbine E-101 has a 99 m high tower and rotor with a diameter of 101 m and it is technically one of the most accomplished and modern turbines currently in production.

Total capacity of Tamba wind turbines is 6 MW and expected annual total production is approximately 20 GWh, covering the needs of 5,700 households with average power consumption.

Mäli wind turbines

Mäli wind turbines are located in Mäliküla village, Varbla rural municipality, and Pärnu County. See the site.

Four wind turbines E-101 with 3 MW capacity have been constructed in Mäli. The turbines are manufactured by the German company Enercon GmbH and belong to Tamba-Mäli wind power plant. The turbines are connected through a common 33 kV switchyard with Lõpe 110/33 kV substation of a wind power plant. Wind turbine E-101 has a 99 m high tower and rotor with a diameter of 101 m and it is technically one of the most accomplished and modern turbines currently in production.

Total capacity of Mäli wind turbines is 12 MW and expected annual total production is approximately 40 GWh, covering the needs of 11,400 households with average power consumption.
